Start using your set-top box

Before you start using your set-top box, you need to follow these initial steps.

Connect the HDMI cable's connector to the "HDMI" port and to your TV.

Connect one end of the network cable to the

Connect one end of the network cable to the "ETHERNET" port and the other end to a LAN port in your modem or router.

Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a wall socket.

Press On/Off on the remote control.

Press SOURCE or INPUT on your remote control.

A list of connected inputs is displayed on the TV screen.

Select the HDMI input that your set-top box is connected to.

When this screen is displayed, your set-top box is ready for setup.

Press the Centre key and wait a moment.

If you're asked to, activate the Bluetooth connection for the remote control by following the instructions on the screen.

Follow the instructions on the screen to set up your set-top box using an iPhone or iPad or highlight Set Up Manually.

Follow the instructions on the screen to set up your set-top box using an iPhone or iPad or highlight Set Up Manually.

If you set up your set-top box using an iPhone or iPad, it will automatically use Wi-Fi and your Apple ID.

Highlight the required setting.

If you choose not to turn on Siri, you can always do this later in Settings.

Highlight the required Wi-Fi network.

You can also connect a network cable to the "ETHERNET" port in your Apple TV and to the "LAN" port in your modem to create a wired connection. Connecting via a network cable can provide a faster and more stable connection than Wi-Fi.

Key in the password for the Wi-Fi network and highlight Continue.

Follow the instructions on the screen if you don't want to activate your Apple ID or highlight Email or Phone Number.
